Overview
Beetry ("the app," "we," "us") is a single-player arcade game for iOS. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and who it's shared with. We don't require an account, we don't collect any user-generated content, and we don't run ads.
Information we collect
The app uses two Google Firebase services:
- Firebase Analytics — automatically-collected usage data (screens viewed, session length, general device/OS info, coarse approximate location derived from IP). We use this to understand which stages and worlds are actually being played. The app is configured without Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) — we don't do ad targeting or attribution, and installing the app does not trigger an App Tracking Transparency prompt for advertising purposes.
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash and error reports (stack traces, device model, OS version, app version) sent automatically if the app crashes, so we can fix bugs. Crash reports do not contain your name, email, or any content you didn't put there by crashing near it.
If you make the in-app purchase that unlocks the full game, that transaction is handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We receive confirmation that an entitlement was purchased; we never see your payment details — Apple processes and stores those under its own privacy policy.
How we use this data
Strictly for building a better game: finding crashes, understanding which stages are too hard or too easy, and prioritizing what to work on next. We do not sell data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Third parties
Analytics and crash data is processed by Google (Firebase), acting as our data processor, under Firebase's privacy terms. Purchases are processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We don't integrate any third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Children's privacy
Beetry is a general-audience game and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, and the analytics we do collect is aggregate device/usage data, not personal identifiers.
Data retention & deletion
Analytics and crash data are retained per Firebase's standard retention windows. Because we don't tie this data to an account or identity, we can't look up or delete an individual's history on request — there's nothing identifying to search by. If you have a specific concern, contact us below and we'll do what we can.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example, if we add a new SDK — we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
